WebCD Internet Connectivity Options
Depending upon how the publisher of this CD designed the CD contents, this dialog may allow the you to modify the WebCD Internet Connectivity settings.
WebCD Internet Connectivity settings
Connect to the Internet to blend Web updates with CD content.
Requires an Internet connection. If you have an Internet connection, the WebCD Viewer will check the live Web for each URL to see if the file on the Web has been updated. If so, the WebCD Viewer displays the file from the live Web. Content that is unchanged is displayed from the fastest source (cache or CD).
Work offline for faster performance.
Browse the CD only.
If you click a Live-Link on a page on the CD or from the WebCD Bookmarks, the WebCD Viewer will use the option selected below in handling the request.
Allow Internet requests to be attempted.
Requires an Internet connection. If you have an Internet connection, the WebCD Viewer will go to the live Web site whenever a Live-Link is encountered.
Don't allow Internet requests, just beep instead.
Browse the CD only. If you click a Live-Link on a page on the CD and you do not have Internet connectivity, the WebCD Viewer will beep to indicate that Internet content has been detected, but will not attempt to display the page.

If there is a Live-Link on a page on the CD, the WebCD Viewer will prompt you before connecting to the Internet to access the content.
