Sun FE Handbook CD > User's Guide

Welcome to FE Handbook CD 1.4 User's Guide

Product Information and Features

The Sun FE Handbook CD is derived from the online version of the FE Handbook which contains the contents of the printed FE Handbook, the FE Handbook Supplement, Product Code Name chart, End Of Life products (EOL) and the spare parts list.

The CD is designed to be a reflection of the web site and as a result mimics it closely in look and behavior. This allows for easy transistion between the two media types for those doing support in varied environments where they do no always have access to the internet. (The web site is reserved for Sun personnel and our authorized service providers only).

The CD allows you to browse and search for information about Sun products. Browsing is currently organized by component type, searching is by keywords and boolean expressions.

Both Solaris and Windows environments are supported with minimal differences between platforms to the user experience.
